Dena backdrop
The Dena range rises close to the city, so the edges of the map are defined by mountain ground rather than suburbs. This gives the composition a clear, bounded feel.

Mapa
Yasuj Map Poster & Print
Yasuj is the capital of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province in southwestern Iran, set at high altitude in the Zagros Mountains. The city lies in a valley near the Dena range, one of the highest parts of the Zagros. Rising ground frames its map on several sides.
Yasuj is a relatively young city, so its street network is made up of broad main roads and newer residential districts rather than a dense historic core. The Beshar River flows nearby, and belts of greenery and orchards follow the water. Where the valley narrows, roads bend with the land, giving parts of the map a more natural shape than its central avenues.
A Yasuj map poster pairs clear urban lines with a strong sense of the terrain. The valley holds the city like a basin, the river adds a winding line, and the surrounding slopes leave generous empty space around the streets. It is a good choice for anyone who knows the cold winters and green springs of this highland city.

Beshar River
The river runs through the valley near the urban area. It is drawn as a curving line with patches of greenery beside it that soften the grid of newer streets.
Valley streets
Main avenues follow the valley floor, while side streets climb or bend where the land rises. The street pattern therefore changes texture from the centre to the edges.
