Mapa
Zheshan Map Poster & Print
Zheshan lies in the uplands of central Shandong, where low hills and valleys shape the land between the coastal plain and the higher mountains of the province. From above, the town centre is a compact cluster of streets, with main roads stretching out along the valleys and farmland spreading across the slopes around it.
This is working countryside. The small plots and field boundaries around Zheshan follow the contours of the ground, so the agricultural land has a finely divided, slightly curved look on the map, very different from the rigid blocks of larger Chinese cities. Village settlements dot the surrounding area, each linked to the town by narrow roads.
A Zheshan map poster shows a place defined by its terrain: a denser core, a few strong road axes, and a landscape of fields and hills around it. In black and white, the contrast between the town's straight streets and the softer rural lines makes a quiet, balanced composition.
