Horizonte Map Poster & Print
Horizonte is a municipality in Ceará, in northeastern Brazil, and part of the metropolitan region of Fortaleza. The terrain is mostly flat to gently rolling, part of the low country behind the coast, and the town has spread across it. On a map the centre is a compact cluster, with newer neighbourhoods extending outward in blocks of varying orientation.
Being close to the state capital has encouraged industry and residential growth, and the plan reflects that recent expansion. Main roads carry traffic toward Fortaleza and the interior, and development lines up along them. Between these routes, grids of residential streets have been laid out in stages. The map shows patches of order joined by longer connecting roads and pockets of open land.
A Horizonte map poster captures a town still taking shape: a defined centre, the roads that tie it to the region, and the rectangular districts filling in around them, with undeveloped ground softening the edges. It suits residents who have watched the place change, workers who moved here for new jobs, and families with roots in the Fortaleza area.

Regional roads
Main roads linking Horizonte with Fortaleza and the interior run through the town as long, clear lines, with much of the recent development gathered along them.
New residential grids
Newer districts are laid out as rectangular grids set at different angles. Each reflects its own phase of growth, and together they give the map a patchwork of orderly blocks.
