Just to the east rises the Montello, a long, rounded hill crossed by a series of parallel roads, and beyond it flows the Piave. On the map, the town spreads across the plain in a broad, slightly irregular pattern.
Montebelluna is internationally known as a centre for sports footwear, particularly ski boots and mountaineering boots.
