Imerintsiatosika is a town in the Itasy region of Madagascar, on the central highlands west of Antananarivo. The landscape is made up of ridges and valleys, with rice paddies filling the lower ground. The town has grown along the main road leading west from the capital, and from above it reads as a linear settlement following that route.
Side streets branch off the main road and climb the surrounding slopes, while houses cluster on the higher, drier ground. The valleys below remain open, their paddies visible as smooth areas in the drawing.
