Lincoln Map Poster & Print
Lincoln lies in northern Rhode Island, and its eastern edge follows the Blackstone River, the waterway that powered some of America's earliest textile mills. On the map, a line of mill villages sits along the river, each a small knot of streets, while the rest of town is a mix of woodland, reservoirs and winding roads.
The town is part of the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. Lincoln Woods State Park takes up a large block of forest and water in the south, and the Limerock area recalls the limestone quarrying that was once important here. Old routes such as the Great Road still thread between the villages.
A Lincoln, Rhode Island map poster shows a town that grew in pieces rather than around one centre: the river, the chain of villages, the highways cutting north from Providence and the wide green of the state park. In black and white, that fragmented pattern becomes an interesting, balanced composition.

Lincoln Woods
The state park forms a large, quiet area of forest and a central pond, a calm open field on the poster surrounded by roads.
Colonial roads
Historic routes such as the Great Road curve through the countryside between villages, following the land rather than any grid.
