Ālangulam Map Poster & Print
Ālangulam is a town in the far south of Tamil Nadu, in the farming country between Tirunelveli and the Western Ghats. The map shows a compact centre where several roads meet, with houses and shops packed along them and quieter residential streets filling in behind.
Around the town the pattern opens into agricultural land. The region relies on tanks, the traditional irrigation reservoirs of south India, and they appear on the map as rounded shapes with fields spreading out below their banks. Rural roads link the town with surrounding villages, and to the west the ground begins to rise toward the hills.
An Ālangulam map poster shows how a market town and its farmland fit together. In black and white, the tanks become quiet open shapes, the fields a soft background, and the roads converging on the centre give the whole composition a clear focus. It is a simple, honest portrait of a working place.

Converging roads
Several roads meet at the town centre, where buildings line the main streets densely before the plan loosens into residential lanes.
Toward the Ghats
To the west the land gradually rises toward the Western Ghats, giving the edge of the map a different, less cultivated character.
