Balfour Map Poster & Print
Balfour sits on the high, open grassland of southern Mpumalanga. From above, the older town is laid out in straight streets and rectangular blocks. Siyathemba township lies nearby, with its own tighter pattern of small plots. Around both, the land opens into wide farm fields cut by long, straight roads.
The town is the seat of the Dipaleseng Local Municipality and has long served the farming district around it. Road and rail links cross the area, connecting it to Gauteng to the north-west and to the rest of the Highveld.
A Balfour map poster shows the different grains of a South African country town side by side. There are broad colonial-era blocks, denser township streets and the open geometry of fields. Seen together in black and white, they make a clear and honest portrait of the place.

Siyathemba streets
The township's smaller plots and closer streets create a denser texture beside the town. The contrast shows two distinct urban patterns next to each other.
Highveld fields
Beyond the built-up area, long straight roads and field boundaries run across flat grassland. They give the edges of the print a calm, open rhythm.
