Bayamón Map Poster & Print
Bayamón lies just west of San Juan and is one of Puerto Rico's largest municipalities. From above, it changes shape from north to south. Near the coast, the land is flat and densely built, with shopping centres, expressways and tight residential blocks. Toward the interior, streets start to curve with the hills, and patches of green take over.
The Bayamón River runs through the city from the south and gives it a natural spine. The Tren Urbano, San Juan's metro line, ends here, and its route shows on the map as a clean line leading east toward the capital. Major highways cross the northern districts and frame the traditional town centre around its main plaza.
A Bayamón map poster shows the whole transition, from the dense grid of the plain to the winding roads of the uplands. The contrast gives the print depth. Locals sometimes call the city the capital of chicharrón, and the old centre still keeps its historic plaza and church.

Tren Urbano terminus
San Juan's metro line ends in Bayamón, and its track runs across the map as a single confident stroke toward the capital.
Southern hills
In the south, streets bend around karst hills and valleys, forming a looser, organic pattern very different from the flat north.
