North–south railway
The line between Itarsi and Nagpur runs through the town, a long straight stroke that organises much of the street plan around it.

Betūl Map Poster & Print
Betūl lies on a plateau in the Satpura range in southern Madhya Pradesh. From above, the town is compact, with an older, denser commercial area and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward along the main roads. Around the edge of town, farmland and wooded hills begin quickly, giving the map a clearly defined boundary.
The town is the headquarters of Betul district, which is heavily forested and is home to a large Gond and Korku population. The source of the Tapti River is associated with Multai, in the same district. The railway line between Itarsi and Nagpur passes through the town.
A Betūl map poster has a quiet, simple character. The rail line draws a long axis through the plan, the town's streets cluster around it and the main roads, and the surrounding open land frames everything. The design is spare and restful, a small upland town shown as a single clear shape.

Compact market core
Near the centre the streets tighten into a denser pattern of lanes, clearly different from the more spacious residential areas beyond.
Plateau surroundings
Fields and forested hills begin close to town, leaving wide open spaces around the settlement and emphasising its compact outline.
