Buritis Map Poster & Print
Buritis is a town in northwestern Minas Gerais, near the borders with Goiás and the Federal District. Its name recalls the buriti, a tall palm typical of the wet areas of the Brazilian cerrado. The region is now largely agricultural. Large farms produce grain and other crops on the high, open plateaus.
From above, the town is a regular grid of blocks on fairly flat land. It has a few main avenues and residential streets that extend outward over time. Beyond it the landscape changes scale. Large rectangular fields and, in many places, circular irrigated plots cover the plateau, and a few long roads connect them.
A Buritis map poster shows a small, well-ordered town in a landscape designed for farming. The fine grid of the streets contrasts with the large geometry of the surrounding fields. Even in black and white, that difference in scale gives the drawing a clear structure and a sense of open space.

Farm geometry
Around the town, large fields cut the land into big shapes. It is typical of how the cerrado has been transformed by agriculture.
Long rural roads
Straight roads run across the plateau between farms and nearby towns. They are few, but they stretch a long way across the frame.

Many bar bolan karta
The poster is a natural choice for people who work the land in the region or grew up in town. It shows both the place and the farm country around it, and that pairing is exactly what makes Buritis what it is.
Add your own title and subtitle and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the earthy tone of the cerrado.
