Caohe Map Poster & Print
Caohe is the seat of Qichun County in eastern Hubei, on the north side of the Yangtze River. The town sits where low hills meet the river plain, so its streets bend with the terrain on one side and spread more regularly toward flatter land on the other. Ponds, lakes and small waterways are scattered across the surrounding countryside.
Qichun is known in China as the home of Li Shizhen, the Ming dynasty physician and naturalist who wrote the Compendium of Materia Medica. His memory is an important part of local identity, and the area is associated with traditional medicinal plants.
A Caohe map poster shows a county town in its landscape: a compact centre, newer blocks growing outward along main roads, and a lot of water nearby. In black and white, the lakes become solid shapes that anchor the page.

Lakes and ponds
Water bodies of many sizes surround the town, typical of the Yangtze plain, and they give the poster strong, rounded shapes.
Hills and plain
Low hills on one side and flat land on the other shape how the town grows, with roads bending near the slopes.
