Caucasia Map Poster & Print
Caucasia lies in the Bajo Cauca subregion of Antioquia, on the flat, hot lowlands where the Cauca River widens as it heads north toward the Magdalena. From above, the river dominates the map: a wide channel with sandbars and islands, its banks lined by the town's streets on the west side and crossed by a single long bridge.
The town grew as a river port and crossing point on the main road connecting Medellín with the Caribbean coast. Cattle ranching and gold mining have long shaped the surrounding region, and the landscape around the town is a mix of pastures, wetlands and water bodies.
A Caucasia map poster frames the town against the river's powerful curves. The grid of streets fills the western bank, the bridge draws a firm line across the water, and the lowland wetlands soften the edges of the composition.

Road bridge
A long bridge carries the main road across the Cauca, a single straight line linking the town to the eastern bank and the route to the coast.
Town grid
The streets form a fairly regular grid along the riverbank, becoming looser as they reach the surrounding pastures and wetlands.

Caucasia is a crossroads for travellers and a home for many families in the Bajo Cauca. A map poster captures its relationship with the river, which shapes daily life and the town's memory.
