Central Map Poster & Print
Central is a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, in the semi-arid country north of the Chapada Diamantina. Its name is plain and direct, and so is its layout: a small grid of streets around the main square, surrounded by open land that stretches in all directions across the plateau.
The town shares its landscape with neighbouring Jussara a short distance to the northeast, and both belong to the farming region around Irecê. From above, the countryside is a pattern of fields and dirt roads, with scattered homesteads and low vegetation. The town's streets end abruptly, and rural tracks begin where they stop.
A Central map poster presents this plain arrangement in clear black line: the grid, the square, the roads leaving town and the open space around them. There is no river or coastline to organise the view, so the streets themselves carry the design. Small as the town is, its outline is distinctive and easy to recognise.

A small, fairly regular grid covers the town, with clear edges where the streets give way to open country.
Rural tracks
Dirt roads lead across the plateau toward Jussara and other nearby towns, forming long, thin lines through the surrounding farmland.
