Chaville Map Poster & Print
Chaville lies west of Paris in Hauts-de-Seine, on the historic route between the capital and Versailles. Its map has a very clear shape. The town stretches along a narrow valley, with the main avenue running through the bottom and residential streets climbing the slopes on either side. The Forest of Meudon covers the high ground to the south, and the Forest of Fausses-Reposes covers the high ground to the north.
That forest frame makes Chaville unusually green for a suburb so close to Paris. On the map, the built-up area forms a long band pressed between two large masses of woodland, with paths winding through the trees and small ponds scattered across them.
Rail lines also run through the valley, and the town has several stations serving lines to Paris and Versailles. A Chaville map poster shows how tightly the layout is defined: an avenue, two railway lines, a strip of houses, and forest closing in from both sides.

Forests on both sides
The Meudon and Fausses-Reposes forests cover the slopes to the south and north, framing the town in two large green areas.
Rail lines in the valley
Railway lines run parallel through the valley, and their straight, level paths contrast with the streets climbing the slopes around them.
