Clinton Map Poster & Print
Clinton lies just west of Jackson, Mississippi, among low wooded hills. On the map the town has a compact historic centre around Olde Towne, surrounded by suburban neighbourhoods with curving streets. Interstate 20 runs along its southern side.
Clinton is home to Mississippi College, founded in 1826 and among the oldest colleges in the state. Its campus is a clear feature on the map, with open lawns set among buildings. The Natchez Trace Parkway, a historic route between Natchez and Nashville, passes through the town on its way northeast.
A Clinton map poster brings together the small grid of the old centre, the college grounds, and the gently curving line of the Trace running through woodland. It is a quiet, detailed portrait of a Southern college town.
