Concordia is a municipality in southwestern Antioquia, in the mountainous coffee country that lies between Medellín and the Cauca River valley. The town itself occupies a narrow stretch of high ground, and its streets follow the familiar Spanish colonial pattern of a central plaza with a church and a grid of blocks radiating out until the terrain becomes too steep to build on.
Beyond the urban edge, the map quickly changes character.
