Canal fingers
Toward the south, narrow canals cut into the land in parallel lines. The resulting comb of streets and waterways is the most distinctive shape on the map.

Copiague Map Poster & Print
Copiague is a hamlet in the Town of Babylon, on the South Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County. Its map has two distinct textures. Inland, residential streets form a steady suburban grid. Toward the south, the land breaks into narrow peninsulas and dredged canals where houses sit right on the water.
The canals open toward Great South Bay, and many homes along them have their own docks, as is common on this stretch of the South Shore. The Long Island Rail Road's Babylon Branch passes through, with Copiague station serving commuters heading west toward New York City. Montauk Highway crosses the hamlet as a major east-west road.
A Copiague map poster makes the most of that contrast. The regular blocks inland and the comb-like fingers of land and water along the shore create a rhythm that is striking in black and white. The place is defined as much by its water as by its streets, and the print shows exactly that.

Great South Bay edge
The canals lead out to open water, and the bay forms a calm, unbroken field at the bottom of the frame when the map is scaled wide enough.
Rail and highway
The Babylon Branch and Montauk Highway both cross the hamlet from east to west, drawing strong horizontal lines through the middle of the map.

Näme üçin Copiague
Many bar bolan karta
Copiague prints resonate with people who grew up near the canals, kept a boat at the dock or commuted on the Babylon Branch for years. The mix of grid and water makes it more graphic than most suburban maps.
Customise the title and subtitle with a street, a family name or a date, and keep or change the coordinates line. Blueprint suits the canals, Sand evokes summer on the bay, and Classic black & white, Noir and Paper round out the five styles.
