Airport edge
The runways and aprons of BWI occupy a large area nearby. Their long, geometric shapes contrast sharply with the small residential blocks of Ferndale.

Ferndale Map Poster & Print
Ferndale is a community in northern Anne Arundel County, Maryland, south of Baltimore and next to Glen Burnie. On a map, its most noticeable neighbour is Baltimore/Washington International Airport, whose runways and terminals fill a large area to the west. Residential streets fill the land between the airport, the main highways and the rail corridor.
The Baltimore light rail line runs through the area and has a stop in Ferndale, giving the community a direct link to the city. From above, the pattern is a mix of older, fairly regular suburban blocks and later curving streets, cut through by the straight lines of highways and rails. The result is dense and full of contrast.
A Ferndale map poster is a very local map, the kind of place that matters most to people who live there. It shows how a neighbourhood fits among big infrastructure: runways, rail, interstates. In black and white, those long straight lines set against small house lots produce an unexpectedly graphic composition.

Light rail corridor
The light rail line crosses the community in a straight line toward Baltimore, with a local stop. On the map it forms a clear diagonal through the streets.
Suburban blocks
Older streets form a fairly regular grid, and newer ones curve into loops. Together they create a varied texture between the main roads.

Many bar bolan karta
Ferndale is the kind of place people call home for decades, near work, family and the city. A map of it makes a sincere gift for parents, a first home, or someone who has moved away from Anne Arundel County.
Customise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a surname, a street or the year you moved in. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint emphasises the lines of the runways and rails.
