Plaza grid
The centre follows the traditional pattern of square blocks around a main plaza. On the poster it forms a neat, compact shape at the heart of the design.

Guadalupe Map Poster & Print
Guadalupe is a municipality in the southern part of the Huila department in Colombia, in the Andean terrain east of the Magdalena. From above, the town centre is a regular Spanish-colonial style grid of square blocks around a main plaza. This order stands out against the surrounding countryside, where the land folds steeply into ridges and valleys.
Huila is one of Colombia's best-known coffee-growing departments, and the hillsides around towns like Guadalupe are covered with small farms. On a map, the rural area appears as a mesh of winding tracks following ridgelines and streams. There are almost no straight lines beyond the town itself.
A Guadalupe map poster shows this contrast clearly: a compact, orderly town grid, surrounded by an irregular mountain landscape. Roads leave the town in curves, following the terrain, and river valleys cut through the edges of the frame. It is a clear portrait of a typical Andean town in the south of Huila.

Mountain roads
Roads leave the town in winding curves as they follow ridges and descend to river crossings. Their lines show the terrain even in a flat, minimal map.
Farm slopes
Small farms, many of them growing coffee, cover the surrounding hills. Their paths and field edges create a loose, irregular texture around the town.
