Illkirch-Graffenstaden Map Poster & Print
Illkirch-Graffenstaden lies just south of Strasbourg in Alsace, and much of its layout is shaped by water. The Ill river winds along one side of the town, the Rhône–Rhine canal runs almost straight through it, and between them lie residential streets, older village centres and newer districts.
The town is also a centre for research and education. Its innovation park and university campus host laboratories, engineering schools and companies, particularly in biotechnology and health sciences. Tram line A connects the town directly to central Strasbourg.
An Illkirch-Graffenstaden map poster shows the contrast between the winding Ill and the straight canal, the two historic village cores, and the wide, open blocks of the campus and business park. Forests and fields on the outskirts give the print a green, open edge.
