Isabela is a municipality in Negros Occidental, on the island of Negros in the Western Visayas. It sits inland, away from the coast, and the map reflects this. There is no shoreline to shape the town. Instead the built-up area follows its main roads through gently rising countryside.
The centre, or poblacion, gathers the densest streets around the town's civic core, and from there roads lead out to outlying barangays.
