Jette Map Poster & Print
Jette is one of the nineteen municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, on the northwestern edge of the city. Its map combines tight rows of townhouses near the centre with more open, green ground to the north, where woods and parkland take over. A railway line crosses the commune, and the station area forms one of its main nodes.
The commune borders Koekelberg, and the great basilica stands just beyond the line, anchoring the view to the south. Jette is also home to the Brussels university hospital and a medical campus. René Magritte lived here for more than two decades, and his house is now a small museum.
A Jette map poster brings out the character of a Brussels commune: angled streets meeting at small squares, the long cut of the railway, and the soft outlines of the Laerbeek wood and the King Baudouin Park at the edge. It is a detailed, domestic map, well suited to a hallway or a study.
