Kenmore Map Poster & Print
Kenmore is a village within the Town of Tonawanda, directly north of the Buffalo city line. It developed early as a streetcar-era suburb and is often described as one of Buffalo's first suburbs. That history shows on the map: the blocks are small and tightly packed, and there is none of the sprawl found further out.
Delaware Avenue runs through the middle as the main street, lined with shops and public buildings. On either side, a regular grid of residential streets fills the village almost edge to edge, with modest houses on narrow lots and mature trees along the sidewalks.
A Kenmore map poster is a study in density and order. The village boundary is clearly defined, the grid inside it is remarkably even, and the neighbouring streets of Buffalo and Tonawanda continue around it. It is a crisp, satisfying image in pure black and white.

Even residential grid
Parallel streets of closely spaced houses fill almost the whole village, making one of the most regular street patterns in the Buffalo area.
Buffalo boundary
On the south side, Kenmore's streets join the city's grid, and the map shows how the early suburb grew out from Buffalo.
