Klin Map Poster & Print
Klin lies in Moscow Oblast about 85 kilometres north-west of the capital, on the Sestra River. From above, the river winds through the town in a series of bends, and the old centre sits on higher ground beside it. The Leningradskoye highway and the Moscow–St Petersburg railway pass through the area, drawing long lines past the older, more irregular streets.
Klin is first recorded in the fourteenth century, and for centuries it was a stop on the road between Moscow and Tver, later extended to St Petersburg. Pyotr Tchaikovsky spent his last years here, and his house, where he wrote the Sixth Symphony, is now a museum. The town is also known for its glass Christmas decorations, which have been made here for many decades.
A Klin map poster suits a frame that includes the river bends and the rail line, because together they give the town its structure. The digital version costs $9 and includes six sizes, from 30×40 cm to 24×36″, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF without a watermark. Printed posters on matte paper are also available.

Old centre
The historic core on the rise above the river keeps an older, less regular street pattern, distinct from the Soviet-era blocks and newer districts around it.
