Caribbean shoreline
The coast forms a long, gently curved edge along the town, the single strongest line in the design and a reminder of the island's fishing life.

La Guardia Map Poster & Print
La Guardia sits on Margarita Island in Venezuela's Nueva Esparta state, facing the Caribbean. On the map it is a small, loosely gridded settlement pressed against the sea, with a coastline that runs in a long, smooth line and a hinterland of dry, lightly built land stretching inland.
This part of Margarita is known for its fishing and its beaches, and the town's shoreline is the defining feature of any view from above. The island setting means water is never far away, and the roads that connect La Guardia to the rest of Margarita trace the edges of the landscape.
A La Guardia map poster is mostly about the meeting of land and sea. The clean coastline, the modest pattern of streets behind it and the wide expanse of open water create a spacious, uncluttered composition, well suited to minimalist interiors and to anyone who knows the island.
