Barrancas edge
The town stands on high riverbanks. The grid stops sharply where the land drops toward the Paraná, which gives the poster a clear western edge.

La Paz Map Poster & Print
La Paz is a town in the north-west of Entre Ríos province, on the eastern bank of the Paraná River. It stands on the high bluffs, known locally as barrancas, that rise above the river along much of this stretch. The contrast between high ground and the wide, braided river below defines how the town looks on a map.
Like many Argentine towns, La Paz is laid out as a regular grid of square blocks around a central plaza. On the river side the grid meets the ravines and the port area, and beyond that the Paraná spreads out into channels and islands. The town is popular with anglers, and fishing on the river is a large part of its identity.
A La Paz map poster captures the moment where the order of the grid meets the irregular forms of the river. On paper the channels and islands to the west form a complex pattern that balances the neat streets in the east. It is a strong map for anyone who knows the view from the barrancas.

Paraná channels
West of the town the river splits into channels around low islands. They create a flowing, irregular pattern next to the orderly streets.
Central grid
Square blocks spread out from the main plaza in a classic Argentine layout. They print as a crisp, even texture in the eastern half of the map.
