La Verne Map Poster & Print
La Verne lies in the eastern San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains. It began as a citrus town, and although the orchards have mostly gone, the plan still shows that past: a small historic centre, tree-lined residential streets, and land that slopes gently up toward the mountains.
At the heart of the city is the University of La Verne, whose campus sits right next to the old downtown along Bonita Avenue. From above, campus buildings, quads and car parks form a compact block beside the small grid of shops and houses. To the north, streets begin to curve as the ground rises into the foothills.
A La Verne map poster shows a modest, well-ordered Southern California town. Foothill Boulevard, the old Route 66 corridor, crosses the city as a firm line, the old town and university create a denser core, and the curving hillside streets finish the picture. It reads well in Sand or Paper, with a warm, understated look.

Old town core
A small grid of streets around Bonita Avenue marks the historic centre, the densest and most regular part of a city that otherwise spreads out gently.
Foothill slopes
To the north, the ground rises toward the San Gabriel Mountains, and the street pattern loosens into curving residential roads following the contours.
