Rivers at the edge
The Oude Rijn and the Zijl define much of the town's boundary, thin lines of water that separate Leiderdorp from its neighbours and from the open countryside.

Leiderdorp Map Poster
Leiderdorp lies on the eastern side of Leiden in South Holland, so close that the two share a continuous urban edge. The Oude Rijn and the Zijl trace its borders, the A4 motorway passes through, and beyond the houses the land opens into polders divided by long, straight ditches. On the map it reads as a compact town held in place by water.
Like many Dutch towns, Leiderdorp grew from a small village into a largely planned residential community in the second half of the twentieth century. Its neighbourhoods are organised around ponds, canals and green strips, with cycle paths running separately from roads. An older village core survives as a smaller, denser knot within the newer layout.
A Leiderdorp map poster captures the Dutch talent for fitting town, water and transport into a tight, orderly space. The polders add a rhythm of parallel lines at the edges, while the residential areas curve around their ponds. It suits anyone who knows the area around Leiden and appreciates how much structure a flat landscape can hold.

Polder lines
Beyond the built-up area, long straight ditches divide the fields into narrow strips, a precise, repeating pattern characteristic of the Dutch lowlands.
Motorway corridor
The A4 passes through the town as a broad, straight band, the most prominent man-made line on the map and a clear divider between districts.

Näme üçin Leiderdorp
Many bar bolan karta
Leiderdorp is where many people who study or work in Leiden choose to settle and raise families. A map of it is a quiet reminder of bike rides, school runs and walks by the water, and it fits naturally in a Dutch interior.
Change the title and subtitle to a street, a family name or a moving date, and keep the coordinates line if you like. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Blueprint suits the precise geometry of the polders particularly well.
