Lutuhyne Map Poster & Print
Lutuhyne lies in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine, southwest of the city of Luhansk, in the rolling steppe of the Donbas. On a map, the town shows the usual pattern of an industrial settlement from the region. Residential streets are laid out in rough blocks, and larger sites and transport lines border them.
The town has long been associated with heavy industry, and the railway plays a big part in its layout. Tracks run past the town and divide it into districts, and wide open fields surround everything. Small river valleys and ravines, typical of the steppe, cut shallow lines through the farmland.
A Lutuhyne map poster keeps the town as its streets record it: a compact place of houses, gardens, rail lines and fields. For people who grew up there and now live elsewhere, the map can hold a precise picture of a home that is hard to reach.

Low-rise street blocks
Streets of houses and garden plots form a loose grid that fills most of the town area in fine, even lines.
Steppe ravines
Shallow valleys and ravines wind through the surrounding fields and add irregular natural lines to the open land around the town.
