Madison Map Poster & Print
Madison lies on the Connecticut shoreline between New Haven and Old Saybrook. The map is organised by the coast. Along Long Island Sound, small coves, rocky points and beaches break up the southern edge. Inland, the Boston Post Road runs east to west through the village centre, and wooded residential roads spread north toward the interstate and the hills.
The historic centre is built around a classic New England green, with churches and older houses facing it. To the east, Hammonasset Beach State Park covers a long stretch of shoreline and salt marsh and is the largest shoreline park in the state. Its beaches and wetlands form the largest open area on the map.
A Madison map poster balances coast and village. The curved shoreline gives the print a natural edge, the green gives it a centre, and the lanes to the north add a finer texture. It suits anyone who spent summers here, grew up in the town or chose it as a quiet place near the water.
