Historic core
The old centre forms a small knot of irregular streets. Newer, more regular blocks surround it and fill out the rest of the town.

Mejorada del Campo Map Poster & Print
Mejorada del Campo is a town in the Community of Madrid, east of the city. From above it forms a compact grid of residential blocks, with an older core of narrower streets at its centre. Around it the land opens out into the fields and river terraces of the Jarama valley. There are old gravel workings in the area that have filled with water.
The town is known far beyond Madrid for the church Justo Gallego Martínez built by hand. A former monk, he worked on it for about six decades, largely alone, using recycled and donated materials. The unfinished structure rises among ordinary residential streets and draws visitors from around the world.
A Mejorada del Campo map poster shows a working town with a clear outline. The dense housing sits on the plain, bordered by main roads and edged by farmland, with the river landscape just beyond. It is a restrained, well-balanced composition that reads cleanly in black and white.

Justo's cathedral
The hand-built church sits within the town's streets. On the map it is a modest footprint, but it is one of the most unusual buildings in Spain.
Jarama plain
Farmland, river terraces and former gravel pits spread around the town. They give the edges of the poster open shapes and water bodies.
