Two rivers
The Merrimack forms the eastern edge of town, and the Souhegan winds through it to join the larger river. Together they frame the whole composition.

Merrimack Map Poster & Print
Merrimack lies in southern New Hampshire, between Nashua and Manchester, on the west bank of the Merrimack River. The Souhegan River flows through the town and joins the Merrimack there, and the two rivers give the map its main natural lines. The F.E. Everett Turnpike runs north–south through the town, parallel to the river.
Like many New England towns, Merrimack has no strict grid. Its village centres are small, and most of the town consists of winding roads, wooded lots and residential streets ending in cul-de-sacs. Larger industrial and commercial parcels line the highway corridor. One of them is the Anheuser-Busch brewery, known for its visiting Clydesdale horses.
The Merrimack map poster shows the town as a web of curves among trees and water: two rivers, one straight highway and a network of looping roads. The monochrome style suits the understated New England landscape. It makes a good piece for anyone who lives, grew up or raised a family in the Merrimack valley.

Everett Turnpike
The highway runs north–south through town, parallel to the river. It is the longest straight line on an otherwise curving map.
Wooded subdivisions
Residential roads loop and branch through wooded land, ending in cul-de-sacs that give much of the map a fine, branching texture.
