Cul-de-sac clusters
Residential streets curl into loops and round ends, grouped into distinct subdivisions. On paper they form repeating organic shapes that give the map its character.

Millbrook Map Poster & Print
Millbrook is a small city in Elmore County, just north of Alabama's capital, Montgomery. On a map its outline is loose and irregular. Subdivisions sit among patches of woodland, and small creeks wind between them. The whole area is tied to the region by a handful of major roads, including the interstate that runs toward Montgomery.
The street pattern is typical of the growing American South. Curving residential lanes end in round turnarounds, and each neighbourhood is a self-contained cluster with one or two entrances. Longer arterial roads run between the clusters, and commercial strips gather along them. From above, the neighbourhoods look like separate islands set in green.
A Millbrook map poster turns that suburban pattern into something graphic. The loops and dead ends take on an almost botanical look, like leaves branching off stems, and the straight highway lines give them a firm frame. It is an easy print to live with, detailed up close and calm from across the room.

Highway spine
The interstate and main state roads cut through the area in long, confident lines. They connect Millbrook to Montgomery and set the scale for everything else.
Creeks and woodland
Narrow wooded creek corridors run between the neighbourhoods, leaving soft gaps in the street pattern. They keep the composition from feeling solid.
