Mir Pur Turk Map Poster & Print
Mir Pur Turk is a locality in the northern part of Delhi, one of the many former villages absorbed by the growing city. From above it has the characteristic look of an urban village. It is a dense core of narrow, irregular lanes surrounded by the more regular grids of later planned and unplanned development.
These old village settlements are part of the city's structure. Their street patterns often predate the roads around them and survive in the way houses and lanes are arranged. On a map this shows up as a knot of small lines inside larger, straighter blocks, a record of rural Delhi within the metropolis.
A Mir Pur Turk map poster is detailed and closely woven. It does not have wide boulevards or monuments. Instead, it shows the fine grain of a neighbourhood where people have lived for generations. For residents and those who grew up here, it is a very specific, recognisable picture of home.

Surrounding blocks
Around the core, later development follows straighter streets. The contrast between old and new patterns shows how the city grew around the village.
City road links
Wider roads connect the locality to the rest of north Delhi. They frame the dense lanes and give the map its structure.
