Nakrekal is a town in the Nalgonda district of Telangana, on the Deccan plateau between Hyderabad and the Krishna basin. From above, the settlement forms a compact knot of streets where regional roads converge. Low buildings crowd around the main junction, and the neighbourhoods thin out quickly into fields.
