Neston Map Poster & Print
Neston is a small town on the Wirral Peninsula in Cheshire, on the eastern shore of the Dee Estuary. To the west, the estuary opens into a wide expanse of salt marsh and tidal channels, with the Welsh coast visible across the water. On the map, this makes one side of the town almost completely open.
The neighbouring village of Parkgate was once a port for ships to Ireland, but the Dee silted up over the centuries and the waterfront turned into marshland. Today its old promenade faces grass and reeds rather than open sea, a change you can still read in the shape of the shoreline.
A Neston map poster brings together the compact centre and cross streets of the town, the residential areas that spread toward neighbouring villages, and the broad, lightly marked marsh along the estuary. The contrast between built-up streets and open coastal land gives the print a strong, simple composition.

The old seafront at Parkgate follows the former coastline, a curved line of buildings that now faces marsh instead of water.
Town centre
Neston's centre is a small, dense cluster of streets, with roads leading off toward the rest of the Wirral.
