Novaya Balakhna Map Poster & Print
Novaya Balakhna sits on the Volga upstream of Nizhny Novgorod, within the wider town of Balakhna. From above, the river is the main shape. It is a broad, pale band, and the streets follow its bank instead of crossing it. Housing blocks, garden plots and industrial sites fill the land behind the shore in bands that run roughly parallel to the water.
Balakhna is one of the older towns on the upper Volga. For centuries it was known for salt-making, and later it became known for its large paper mill. On a map that industrial past shows as big, simple footprints: rail spurs, long sheds and wide yards. They sit beside the finer grid of residential streets.
A Novaya Balakhna map poster reduces all of this to line and space. The river gets the most room, the town reads as a band of streets along it, and the flat land to the west thins into roads and field edges. The result is quiet, horizontal and easy to read from across a room.

Industrial footprints
Large mill and works sites show as broad, simple shapes with rail lines. They contrast with the smaller residential blocks around them.
Riverside street pattern
Main streets run alongside the Volga instead of toward it. This gives the map a long, stretched look that works well in a landscape or tall frame.
