Oxford Map Poster & Print
Oxford is in Calhoun County in northeast Alabama, next to Anniston and along Interstate 20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. Its location on the interstate has shaped much of its growth, and the areas around its exits have developed into a regional shopping hub. Beyond those corridors, the city has older streets, residential areas and the green valleys of local creeks.
On a map, the interstate is the strongest line, a broad band across the frame with interchanges branching off it. Main roads run north toward Anniston, and neighbourhoods fill the land between them with curving streets and cul-de-sacs. Creeks and wooded ground break the pattern, and in the distance the ridges of the Appalachian foothills begin to rise.
An Oxford, Alabama map poster works for local families, people who have moved away from Calhoun County, or anyone who has lived along this stretch of I-20. It shows a real southern American town, made of highways, creek valleys and residential streets, drawn cleanly enough to look good on any wall.
