The estuary shoreline forms a long, softly curving edge, with a promenade and small beaches drawn as a thin strip between the water and the town.

Paço de Arcos Map Poster & Print
Paço de Arcos sits on the northern shore of the Tagus estuary in the municipality of Oeiras, where the river widens toward the Atlantic. Its map is defined by parallel lines along the water: the promenade, the Cascais railway and the coastal road known as the Marginal. Behind them, streets climb gently inland into denser residential neighbourhoods.
The town takes its name from the historic palace of Paço de Arcos, which still stands near the waterfront. For generations it was a fishing village and a summer retreat for Lisbon families; today it is largely a commuter town, with the train reaching the capital in a short ride and a seafront walk running along the estuary.
A Paço de Arcos map poster reads like a cross-section of the Lisbon coast: open water, a thin band of transport lines, then the dense texture of the town rising behind. The estuary fills much of the frame, which gives the composition a calm horizon and makes the built area feel sharply drawn by comparison.

Railway and Marginal
The Cascais line and the coastal road run side by side along the shore, two strong parallel strokes that frame the southern edge of the town.
Palace by the water
The old palace that gave the town its name stands near the riverfront, a compact block at the heart of the older street pattern.

Näme üçin Paço de Arcos
Many bar bolan karta
Paço de Arcos is where many people swim, run along the promenade or catch the train each morning into Lisbon. A map of it holds those routines together, and it suits anyone who has lived by the estuary and misses the view.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised, whether with a street name, a year or simply the name of the town. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Blueprint makes the long shoreline look especially crisp.
