Town core
The center is a tight tangle of lanes around the market area. It is the densest part of the map and the natural focal point of the composition.

Pakridayal Map Poster & Print
Pakridayal is a town in East Champaran district of northern Bihar, on the broad alluvial plain between the Ganges and the Himalayan foothills in Nepal. The land is almost perfectly flat, and the map shows it: roads bend around fields, ponds and village clusters instead of following hills or valleys.
The town is a local center for the surrounding countryside, with markets, schools and government offices serving many smaller villages. Farming dominates the landscape. Small plots, earth tracks and water bodies give the area a fine, intricate texture when it is drawn at poster scale.
A Pakridayal map poster is a portrait of an ordinary but densely settled place: a core of narrow lanes, a few main roads leading out to neighboring towns, and a countryside shaped almost entirely by human hands. For anyone from the area, those modest lines carry a great deal of memory.

Radiating roads
A handful of main roads leave the town in different directions toward neighboring settlements, giving the poster a simple star-like structure.
Field and pond texture
Around the town, small ponds and irregular field boundaries fill the plain. The effect is a delicate, almost hand-drawn texture across the outer parts of the map.
