Palmarito Tochapan Map Poster & Print
Palmarito Tochapan lies in the state of Puebla, in the highland farming country east of the city of Puebla, in the municipality of Quecholac. The land is high and mostly flat, and the town follows the regular grid plan common to Mexican towns: streets crossing at right angles, with a main square near the centre. Around it, long rectangular fields extend toward the horizon.
The name combines Spanish and Nahuatl, a common pattern across central Mexico. The surrounding land is dedicated to agriculture, and the town serves the farming families of the area. On a clear day, the high volcanic peaks of central Mexico are visible from this plain, though they sit well outside the frame of the map.
A Palmarito Tochapan map poster shows the grid of the town in contrast with the long strips of farmland around it. In black and white, the regular geometry is especially clear: blocks, streets and field boundaries all lined up. It is a precise, orderly portrait of a highland town in Puebla.

Field strips
Long, narrow fields surround the town, following old land divisions. From above they create parallel lines that extend away from the built-up area.
Country roads
Straight rural roads link the town to neighbouring communities across the plain. They give the map clean lines that lead out toward its edges.
