Panabo lies on the northern shore of the Davao Gulf in Mindanao. On a map the coastline forms the city's long edge, with low ground and waterways meeting the gulf, while the urban centre gathers along the main highway that connects the region's towns.
Beyond the centre, the land opens into large agricultural tracts. Straight farm roads divide plantations into blocks, creating a geometry that feels quite different from the denser, more irregular streets near the city hall and market. Rivers and creeks run toward the sea, adding fine lines across the flat terrain.
