Pandan is a municipality in the province of Antique, on the north-west coast of Panay in the Western Visayas. On a map the town sits on Pandan Bay, where a gentle curve of shoreline meets the Sulu Sea. The town centre is compact, and the land rises quickly behind it towards the forested mountains that run along the length of Antique.
Pandan is known for its rivers. The Bugang River has been recognised in the Philippines as one of the cleanest inland bodies of water, and the Malumpati cold spring upstream draws visitors for its clear, cool water. On a map, these rivers wind down from the hills to the sea.
