Pathanāmthitta Map Poster & Print
Pathanāmthitta is the headquarters of the Kerala district that shares its name, in the midland hills below the Western Ghats. The Achankovil River runs past the town, and its winding course shapes the map. Roads follow ridges and valleys instead of forming a grid, so the street network looks branching and organic.
Outside the centre, the land is covered with rubber plantations and homestead gardens. On the map these appear as a light scatter of houses and lanes rather than dense blocks. The district is best known as home to the Sabarimala temple. Every pilgrimage season, large numbers of devotees pass through the town on their way into the forested hills.
A Pathanāmthitta map poster reflects that hill-country pattern: a small, busy core, roads curving out along the contours, and the dark line of the river connecting it all. It is a gentle, intricate map that looks natural rather than planned.

Ridge-top roads
Main roads follow the high ground out of town, branching like veins. Their curves make the street network look almost botanical on the poster.
Pilgrim gateway
The town serves as a base for travel to Sabarimala. Roads heading east into the hills carry most of the seasonal pilgrim traffic.
