Pedroso Map Poster & Print
Pedroso lies in the Porto district of northern Portugal, a region where towns and countryside blend into one another. On a map it does not show a single dense core. Houses, workshops and small farms are spread along a network of winding roads, with fields, vineyards and patches of woodland in between.
This scattered settlement pattern is typical of the Minho and Porto hinterland. Old parish roads link one hamlet to the next, often following property boundaries and the shape of the land. Newer roads and main routes cut more directly through the area and connect it to the larger towns and to the Atlantic coast to the west.
A Pedroso map poster turns that mix of lanes, small plots and green space into a fine, irregular design. There is no grid here, only the slow accumulation of paths and houses over generations. For families with roots in the parish, or those who left for France, Switzerland or elsewhere, the map will feel familiar at once.

Winding parish roads
Older roads curve between fields and property lines, linking hamlets in a loose, branching web across the map.
Fields and woodland
Small agricultural plots and stands of trees fill the spaces between the roads and leave light, open areas in the print.
