Pingxiang Map Poster & Print
Pingxiang lies in the southwest of Guangxi, close to China's border with Vietnam, in a landscape of limestone karst hills. From above, the town fills the valleys between these steep, isolated peaks, and its streets bend to fit around them rather than following a single grid.
The town is known for Friendship Pass, known in Chinese as Youyiguan, one of the main crossings between China and Vietnam. Road and rail routes linking Nanning with Hanoi pass through the area, and cross-border trade has long shaped the town's economy and growth.
A Pingxiang map poster captures this unusual setting: clusters of streets threaded between hills, highways and rail lines heading toward the border, and patches of open land where the terrain rises too sharply to build. It is a map about movement through a narrow landscape.

Friendship Pass
The historic border crossing to the south is one of the busiest gateways between China and Vietnam, and routes on the map converge toward it.
Road and rail links
Highways and the railway toward Hanoi cut through the valleys as long, purposeful lines, tying the town to trade routes on both sides of the border.
