Rich is a town in the Midelt province of the Drâa-Tafilalet region in Morocco. It lies in the valley of the Ziz River on the southern side of the High Atlas. The main road between Midelt and Errachidia passes through it. On a map, the town is a narrow settlement that follows the river's green strip, with bare mountain terrain on both sides.
The Ziz is one of the rivers that carries water from the Atlas south toward the Tafilalet oases. Along its banks, cultivated plots and palm groves form a thin line through otherwise dry country. The town's streets pack in close to the road and the river, and villages lie scattered along the valley above and below it.
