Roseville Map Poster & Print
Roseville sits in Macomb County, north-east of Detroit and just inland from Lake St. Clair. Its map is a clear example of how metro Detroit grew. The mile roads divide the land into large squares, and each square is filled with regular blocks of houses built mostly in the mid twentieth century.
Gratiot Avenue, one of the historic radial roads leading out of Detroit, cuts diagonally through the city and breaks up the otherwise square grid. Interstates 94 and 696 run along its edges, and Macomb Mall anchors one of the main commercial corridors. The overall effect is orderly and dense, with parks and schools placed within the residential squares.
A Roseville map poster turns that suburban pattern into a strong graphic: fine residential streets, heavier arterial lines and the single diagonal of Gratiot cutting across them. It suits anyone who grew up in Macomb County, bought their first house there, or still thinks of the east side as home.

Gratiot diagonal
Gratiot Avenue runs at an angle through the grid, a leftover of Detroit's original radial plan, and gives the poster a clear directional line.
Interstate edges
I-94 and I-696 form broad curving boundaries near the city's eastern side, which contrast with the fine residential grid inside.
