Roslindale Map Poster & Print
Roslindale is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest of Boston, between Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury and Hyde Park. On a map, its streets form a close-knit, slightly irregular grid of houses and triple-deckers. Several main roads, including Washington Street, meet in Roslindale Village, the small commercial centre.
The Arnold Arboretum, Harvard's landmark tree collection designed with Frederick Law Olmsted, borders the neighbourhood to the north. Its winding paths and open lawns appear as a large green shape on the map. The commuter rail line runs through the area, with a station close to the village square.
A Roslindale map poster captures a neighbourhood that feels like a town within the city. The busy converging roads at the village, the dense residential blocks and the soft curves of the arboretum make a composition with both structure and room to breathe.
